My wind-down methodology involves cooking and one of my favorite things to do is replicate a restaurant recipe at home. Of course, I assess the description of the menu item I am interested in replicating and then ask the server or chef other ingredients if I cannot detect it immediately. Next, I go to the store and buy every last ingredient needed if I do not have it on my pantry shelf. When I get home, the magic begins! Cooking is a big stress reliever for me and allows me to wind down effortlessly. I can stay in the kitchen all day on Sunday afternoons! I will spend hours preparing dinner for my family. As a foodie, I have collected over 100 cookbooks over the years and make cuisine from across the world including my favorites, Thai, Korean, American, and soul food.
